Moriah Hara Fortune 500 CISO, Startup Advisor, Author, Investor Moriah currently serves as a CISO to multiple clients in the healthcare, hedge fund and metals and mining verticals as well as advising early to mid-stage cybersecurity startups such as Eureka.io, SecurityScorecard, DarkWebIQ, Trustlogix, SecureCo and SecureX. Over her 22-year cybersecurity career, Moriah was a Fortune 500 CISO at Interpublic Group (IPG) and Wells Fargo Capital Markets. She built the global VISA Payment Card Industry Security Assessor program which certified thousands of security practitioners on auditing payment environments, engineered the global vulnerability management program at Credit Suisse Networks and co-created the Threat Management team at Bank of America. She is a sought out thought leader and has spoken at events such as FS-ISAC, SINET and Bloomberg Publications. She co-authored “The Perfect Scorecard: Getting An 'A' in Cybersecurity from Your Board of Directors" in 2021 and currently has a popular newsletter where she posts on blockchain and smart contract security. Moriah was named one of 2020’s ‘Top 100 Fascinating Women Fighting Cyber’ by Cybercrime Magazine and was recognized as 2017’s ISE Northeast CISO Executive of the Year and was a judge the following year. Moriah is a recent graduate of Wharton’s inaugural Blockchain program, SANS Blockchain Security course and is a graduate of Harvard University's Executive Cyber Security Program. She is a certified CISM, CSSLP, CISSP and PCI QSA. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Networking from Strayer University in Washington D.C.
