Mr. Cutter has over twenty years of experience managing the delivery of technology solutions for utilities. As co-founder of AAC Utility Partners, now part of E Source, he leads the strategy, planning, and software implementation team. These services are delivered for On-premise and Cloud solutions exclusively to the utility industry. Mr. Cutter is also the founder and Managing Director of Cloud for Utilities. Rick has established their Digital + Cloud Summit as the leading cloud computing and digital transformation event for education and collaboration in the utility industry. Rick also managed the first Cloud SaaS CIS model for the utility industry. This business was a variable price service model based on consumption without software license fees. The business focused on the emerging deregulated energy markets in the late 1990’s. In those early days, the model was referred to as Application Service Providers (ASP), which evolved into what we now know as SaaS.
