Douglas Hubbard is the inventor of the Applied Information Economics (AIE) method and founder of Hubbard Decision Research (HDR). He is the author of multiple books on quantitative analysis of decisions and risks including How to Measure Anything: Finding the Value of Intangibles in Business, which is required reading for the Society of Actuaries Exam prep, and How to Measure Anything in Cybersecurity Risk. In addition to his books, Mr. Hubbard has been published in several leading periodicals including Nature, The IBM Journal of Research and Development, and The American Statistician. Over the last 30 years, he has completed over 200 risk/return analyses of large, critical projects, in many fields including cybersecurity, insurance, financial services, pharmaceutical, healthcare, utilities, aerospace, federal and state government, entertainment media, military logistics, and manufacturing.
